Detective Chinatown 2 is a Chinese comedy mystery buddy film which be on show in 2018. Detective Chinatown 2 is directed and written by Chen Si Cheng. Besides that, Detective Chinatown 2 starring Wang Bao Qiang and Liu Hao Ran. It is a sequel to Detective Chinatown which was released in 2015.

PLOT:

The story picks up a year later with Qin Feng (Liu Hao Ran) enrolled in the police academy, although his main focus is becoming the number one player on Internet mystery game Crimemaster. Arriving in New York to attend Tang Ren’s (Wang Bao Qiang) wedding, he is enthusiastically greeted at the airport by his “uncle”, who seems to be living the high life. However, Qin Feng discovers it’s all a ruse when they arrive at the luxurious ‘wedding venue’, which is actually the residence of Uncle Seven (Kenneth Tsang), otherwise known as the “Godfather of Chinatown”. The ailing Uncle Seven has promised $5 million to whoever can solve the recent murder of his son, whose body was discovered in a Chinatown temple with his heart ripped out. Tang Ren has been unceremoniously dumped by his girlfriend in favour of a wealthy love rival and believes that winning the cash prize will enable him to woo her back. Uncle Seven only has a week to live, so the clock is ticking. Also gathered at the mansion are some of the brilliant detectives that Qin Feng competes with on Crimemaster, notably blue-haired Hong Kong hacker Kiko (Shang Yuxian), Indonesian psychic Aaimali Kunara (Bai Ling), and Wild Bull Billy (Brett Azar), a muscular military veteran who makes Dog the Bounty Hunter look subtle. The coolly professional Detective Chen (Natasha Liu Bordizzo) provides official police department presence while striving to keep all the assembled egos in check. When it becomes apparent that the crime may be connected to another murder, a study of surveillance footage reveals the prime suspect, illegal immigrant Song Yi (Xiao Yang). The detectives set out to claim the prize, but Qin Feng thinks there is more than meets the eye to this seemingly open and shut case.

Tang Ren

Claimed to be the first detective in Chinatown. After he broke the gold theft case in Bangkok with Qin Feng and the murder of Sompa, tang came to the United States and continued to roam. Qin Feng

The film brings a tense atmosphere of solving crimes but it is also full of funny plots. In the plot, Qin Feng (Liu Hao Ran) drives the case solving process, and Tang Ren (Wang Bao Qiang) drives the funny atmosphere. There is no conflict between the two characters. In addition, each character has his or her own distinct personality and abilities, and plays well in the story.
The plot of the second episode is clearer and more purposeful than the first. There are more funny parts to the story and more unexpected developments. But Song Yi (Xiao Yang), the character in the second episode, has already appeared in another role in the first episode and then becomes another role in the second episode.

Expectation

The third episode has already sent a teaser at the end of the second. I really like the story and the cast of this movie, so I’ll still watch it when the third episode comes out. I hope that the original characters in the third episode will be able to maintain the same actors because different roles will be strange to change actors. Besides, as I like watching comedies very much, I hope to add more funny scenes in the third episode. Finally, I hope the third episode will be released smoothly.
